Images & 3D Models in Chat
Generate images and 3D models directly inside a Chat conversation and use them in your projects.
While you're building in the Chat app, you can generate images and 3D models inline — without leaving the conversation — and use them straight away in your scene or page.
For the complete lineup of image, video, 3D, material, and audio models with fine-grained controls, head to Studio. This page covers the lightweight, inline generation available inside a Chat.
Generating images#
The /image command#
The quickest way to generate an image in chat is the /image command:
/image a futuristic city skyline at sunset with neon lights
Natural-language requests#
You can also just describe what you want:
Generate an image of a cozy coffee shop interior with warm lighting
Image quality tips#
For the best results:
- Be specific about the subject, style, and mood
- Mention lighting — "golden hour", "studio lighting", "dramatic shadows"
- Specify a style — "photorealistic", "illustration", "watercolor", "pixel art"
- Include composition details — "close-up", "wide angle", "aerial view"
- Name your colors — "warm earth tones", "cool blues", "vibrant neon"
Using generated images#
Images you generate in chat are saved to your project and can be:
- Used as textures in 3D scenes
- Downloaded as standalone assets
- Referenced in later chat messages
- Converted to 3D models with the image-to-3D pipeline
Generating 3D models#
Describe a 3D object and the AI will generate a model for you:
Generate a 3D model of a stylized treasure chest
You can also convert any image to a 3D model:
- Generate or upload an image
- The AI creates a 3D model from it
- The model is automatically optimized for the web (GLB with mesh compression)
- It's stored in your project and can be loaded into your scenes
